Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played in CBS show Mom. Calvano has a family in California she was initially attracted to at competitive gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actor. In 2010, she first appeared on the screen with an episode of the CBS series 'NCIS.' In the biographical crime-drama movie J Edgar, she made her first appearance in front of the camera a few months later. She became one of the most talented young actors on the scene in the following years. She was awarded nominated for the Young Artist Award, Best Performance by a Young Actress in a Television Series for her part in the show "NCIS". Her role as a guest on Disney XD's comedy 'Kickin The 'It'' received her nomination yet again for an award called a Young Artist Award. Calvano was a key character in "Mom" which was the show's' first three season in addition to making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. The role she played in "Mom" garnered her an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in the year 2015.
