Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She was enthralled by performing at the age of Preparatory after which she moved to Ohio and her family in mid-70s. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also attended the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore.
