Mischa Barton

Barton is a British-American actress working in film as well as television and theatre. In the Lincoln Center in New York City Barton made her theatrical debut in Tony Kushner's Slavs! She portrayed Marissa Cooper in the 2003-2006 season of the Fox TV show The O.C., for where she took home two Teen Choice Awards. Barton has been named the "It Girl of 2003" by Entertainment Weekly because she played the role. Barton has since appeared in the comedic St Trinian's and the dramatic Closing the Ring directed by Richard Attenborough and the drama Closing the Ring.
